The Physics tab is used to apply impact physics to effects particles. Use sparingly as effects physics can be a performance killer.
- The default, no physics on this particle.
Bounce on Impact
The sprite will bounce by the factor provided when it collides with a world object. Try small numbers from 0.2 -> 0.6 for best results.
Remove on Impact
- This ensures that the sprite is removed from the world upon impact with a world object, rather than stay around for the entire duration of its lifetime. If collision does not happen by the end of a sprites lifetime, it will still disappear at the end of its life.
- By pressing the + and – buttons, whole effects can be added to be played when this segments sprite impacts the world. An example of this would be having a splash effect file play when a dripping water sprite segment hits the ground.
